I’m speechless ! This unique squareneck resonator guitar was handmade by Funky Jesus, the winner of the 2012 Hunky Jesus competition in Dolores Park in San Francisco. Wouldn’t that be the perfect instrument for a death metal act ?
The squareneck resonator crucifix guitar is 6’6″ high and approximately 4 feet wide. It features :
- string-thru mahogany tailpiece
- rosewood neck with inlaid 22 frets
- gold tuners
- 5.5” spun steel resonator cone with a redwood biscuit bridge.
- piezo pickup mounted at the apex of the cone
- 1/4″ female output on the back to plug it into an amp
