Every now and then, someone comes up with an idea that is supposed to revolutionize the way we learn, and play guitar. Well, folks, the Rockdreamer GuitarBar is one such idea. The device promises to be the ultimate solution for anyone who wants to learn to play guitar without actually putting in the time and effort to learn how to play guitar.

Now, we’ve all seen those cheesy infomercials that promise you the moon and the stars, and then, when you actually try the product, it’s a complete and utter disappointment. But I have to say, the Rockdreamer GuitarBar takes the cake. Though it looks a lot less cheaper than the Chord Buddy – and just like the Chord Buddy, it could be a great tool for those who have some fingers or hand disability but still want to play guitar – it still looks like a cheap toy but with the added benefit of being completely nonsensical.

The padded buttons? Yeah, they’ll protect your fragile fingertips from painful cuts, but they’ll also make it impossible to actually play anything resembling a real guitar. And the multiple sets of chords at your fingertips? Good luck figuring out which one to use when.

We all know that if you want to learn to play guitar, you’re going to have to put in the time and effort to actually learn how to play guitar. Sorry, folks, but there are no shortcuts in life, especially when it comes to learning a musical instrument.
