It could be useful to write down guitar tabs though… I guess.
David Neevel’s Arduino-powered guitar converts notes played on the guitar into corresponding letters on a keyboard. He uses a Roland GK pickup system and GR-33 to send the notes to an Arduino Uno machine. Tadaa, and his Flying V became a laptop keyboard !
While using a guitar to type out a memo may not be the most efficient method, Neevel has the technical expertise to make it happen, and he has shared instructions on how to build one on his blog.
