There comes a point in every guitarist’s life when the fingertips start asking questions. Why are we doing this? Why does bending suddenly feel like sandpaper?
And why did nobody warn us that playing guitar involved cultivating protective layers of dead skin?
Fortunately, help is available.

Welcome to The Callus Crew : a completely imaginary support group for guitarists suffering from guitar-induced fingertip misery.
We don’t have any miraculous treatment. We don’t even have particularly useful advice. But we do have fellow sufferers, collective complaining and, occasionally, a shoulder to cry on.
Provided you don’t damage the calluses.
A small note…
I’m currently on a mission to rescue several home-grown Guitar Fail creations from the abyss of social media, because their real place is here. Let’s hope I don’t get calluses from all the digging.
